Our school

About us

A scuba diving school in Rome, made of people who love the sea and want to make you fall in love with diving, safely.

Our mission

For over 15 years we've been taking people underwater

Since 2010, Top One Diving has been a point of reference for anyone who wants to experience the underwater world with passion, safety and fun. Our mission is to be by your side on every dive and make it an unforgettable experience, thanks to an expert team that's always with you. Whether you're on your first bubbles or an experienced diver, we guarantee professionalism, emotion and safety on every dive.

A recognised association

A recognised school, not improvised

Diving is a serious matter, and we treat it as such. Top One Diving is an Amateur Sports Association affiliated with OPES, a Sports Promotion Body recognised by CONI, and listed in the Italian National Registry of Amateur Sports Associations. For you, that means diving with an officially recognised organisation, with valid membership and insurance cover and proper safety standards — doing things the right way, since 2010.

The people

The men and women who make the difference

A school is only as good as the people who make it up. Here's who leads Top One Diving and who will be with you, in and out of the water.

Our technical direction

Top One Diving is founded and technically directed by Davide Bastiani, a diver since 1982 and one of the most respected instructors on the Rome and national diving scene.

What this means for you: you learn from someone who has seen diving in every one of its forms — from a first pool try-dive to wrecks, from deep diving to freediving — and you learn safety and emergency management from an instructor who trains other instructors, following SSI and DAN standards. That's no small detail, when your peace of mind underwater is what's at stake.
