I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau’s films, and ever since I was a child I’ve had a deep passion for the sea and a desire to explore the underwater world and the life that inhabits it. The feeling I get when I dive, even just a few metres underwater, gives me a sense of freedom and a desire to explore the unknown. I first started putting my head under water at the age of 14, and more than 50 years on, I still get a thrill when I put on a wetsuit and smell the distinct scent of neoprene. In the water, my mind is set free; the silence, the feeling of weightlessness and a deep sense of well-being wash over me. At Top One Diving, I have found a close-knit group where we share genuine, selfless personal bonds, united by a single great passion: the sea.
