A first-aid course designed for divers (but useful for anyone): first aid, BLS-CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and administering oxygen. Because knowing how to respond really does make a difference.

Knowing how to respond makes all the difference. The React Right and DAN first-aid courses teach you the life-saving procedures — CPR, use of the defibrillator (AED), administering oxygen and managing emergencies — useful both in the water and in everyday life.

These courses are open to everyone, including non-divers, and are often required as a step in the advanced and professional pathways. Hands-on training, with qualified instructors.

Do I have to be a diver to take them?

No: the first-aid courses are open to everyone. They’re useful in everyday life and are a mandatory prerequisite for some advanced levels.
