React Right

A first-aid course designed for divers (but useful for anyone): first aid, BLS-CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and administering oxygen. Because knowing how to respond really does make a difference.

DAN — Basic Life Support (BLS)

Basic life-saving procedures for assisting an adult in cardiac arrest or in a life-threatening situation, whilst waiting for the emergency services to arrive.

DAN — BLS-D (Defibrillation)

CPR combined with the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED): learn how to respond effectively to sudden cardiac arrest in adults.

DAN — First Aid

First-aid techniques for injuries and illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening. Ideal when used in conjunction with BLS.

DAN — Oxygen for diving accidents

Recognising the signs of a diving accident and administering oxygen as first aid: essential for anyone who dives.

DAN — Advanced Oxygen First Aid

Advanced oxygen therapy: use of the positive-pressure on-demand ventilator (MTV100) and the self-inflating bag-valve mask (BVM).

DAN — Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies

First aid using oxygen for aquatic emergencies not related to scuba diving.

DAN — Injuries Caused by Hazardous Marine Life

Recognise dangerous marine organisms, avoid being injured by them, and administer first aid in the event of contact.

DAN — On-Site Neurological Assessment

For those who are already Oxygen Providers: carry out a basic neurological assessment on the spot on a diver who may have been injured.

DAN — Paediatric BLS-D

Life-saving procedures and the use of a defibrillator on children (over one year of age).
